PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Group Name: BMZ Learning Team Size: Three instructional designers Audience: SykkelParts Call Center Employees. What I Worked On: As part of BMZ Learning, I helped design a complete training solution from start to finish. My work included:
Conducting a performance gap analysis
Creating the project management plan
Developing the Instructional Design Document
Building the facilitator guide and QA rubric
Designing the storyboard and QA rubric
Contributing to the final project package
Tools Used: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Zen Flow.
What We Discovered: SykkelParts faced several challenges that affected both the customer experience and overall performance. Some of the main issues included:
Declining sales
Negative customer service feedback
Limited employee understanding of company policies
Weak brand recognition
Falling behind industry benchmarks
These insights helped us shape the direction of the training we created.
Our Solution
SykkelParts partnered with our team to design training that would address these performance gaps and support their call center staff. We focused on making learning materials that were practical, easy to follow, and directly connected to the challenges employees faced. Our goal was to help the team feel more confident, more informed, and better prepared to deliver strong customer service.
